Education is one of the three main concepts in the development of a geopark. This concept raised educational materials regarding geopark aspects such as geodiveristy, biodiversity, and cultural diversity and implemented by educational institutions at the school, university or college. To apply the concept, the Management Board of the National Geopark Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu today launched a program called “Geopark to School. School to Geopark “, in collaboration with the Department of Education of Sukabumi District and West Java province. This program is an invitation to schools in the area geopark to conduct educational activities such as fieldtrips or study tours to the geosites within the area of Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu National Geopark.
